The Statler and Downtown Dallas—Style and Sightseeing
Opened in 1956 and relaunched in 2017, The Statler in downtown Dallas is famous for its Mid-Century design and being America’s first modern hotel and boasts a resort-style outdoor pool, a rooftop bar, and a speakeasy. Located on Commerce Street, adjacent to the Dallas Public Library and across the street from Main Street Gardens, The Statler is within walking distance to Dallas’ must-see attractions, shopping, nightlife, restaurants, and museums. Shop at the Neiman Marcus Flagship Store, take a walk around Main Street Garden Park, or enjoy a drink and live music in Deep Ellum. All of these attractions and more are minutes away from The Statler’s front door.

Due to the popularity of the MPL Association events in Dallas, the Statler Hotel room block for the Technology, Human Resources, and Finance Workshop is sold out. The MPL Association has secured a room block at the AC Hotel Dallas Downtown which is located adjacent to the Statler Hotel (two-minute walk). The Association’s special discounted hotel room rate is $279 per night (plus a 17.95% state and local tax per night). Early reservations are strongly advised. The Association’s discounted hotel room rate is available on a first-come, first-served basis and may sell out at any time. Please note that the discounted hotel room rate may not be eligible for nights before or after the Technology, Human Resources, and Finance Workshop dates. Arrangements for accommodations must be made directly through the hotel no later than Friday, October 13, 2023. The Statler is located approximately 18 miles from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). Taxi and ride share services are available at the airport.
