250 Years of Independence
Philadelphia is the focal point for the 2026 celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, as it is the birthplace of the nation where the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776. Benjamin Franklin, John Hancock, Sam Adams, and delegates from the 13 Colonies signed the Declaration of Independence at Independence Hall. The document proclaimed their separation from British colonial rule. The signing is referred to as the birth of the United States and is celebrated each year on the Fourth of July. Hotel Accommodations

Hotel accommodations for registered attendees at the 2026 MPL Association Conference are available at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. The MPL Association discounted hotel rate for the Loews Philadelphia Hotel is $269 (plus 16.25% sales tax). The MPL Association discounted hotel room rate is available on a first-come, first-served basis and may not be available prior to and following the conference. Hotel rooms are offered on a space-available basis only and may sell out at any time. Early reservations are strongly advised. Arrangements for accommodation must be made no later than Friday, April 17, 2026. Reservations can be made online: click here.

The MPL Association has received reports of unauthorized third parties targeting our members and Conference participants with fraudulent offers to book hotel rooms. These “special discounts” are scams sent by third-party “housing pirates.” Delete—and do not open—these messages.

The Loews Philadelphia Hotel is located 12 miles (approximately 20 minutes) from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), with rideshare and taxis readily available. The hotel is accessible by subway station “13th Street Station.”
